October 12^th, 2019, Professor Wang Jianjiang delivered the keynote address at the 40^th Anniversary Conference of the Literature Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He used his own Bie modern theory to summarize the history of contemporary aesthetic form in China from four aspects as “Rustic Beauty accompanied by false sublime”, “Renewed Look with Sadness and joy”, “Ancient rhythm and old accent having new Voice” and “Suspected form and freedom”.
