June 29th, 2019, at the invitation of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of Lanzhou City University, Professor Wang Jianjiang, reported on recent development in Bie modern thought. Professor Zuo Yilin, Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Design, Professor Keaton Wynn, Director of the Center for Chinese Bie modern Studies (CCBMS) at Georgia Southwestern State University, British designer Harriet Caslin, American ceramic artist Shauna Merriman, Professor Yang Guangyin and various artists from the Academy of Fine Arts participated in an exchange forum.
