At the meeting, Wang Jianjiang, professor of the School of Humanities of Shanghai Normal University, director of the Institute of Aesthetics and Literature, founder of Bie-modernism, and doctoral supervisor, introduced Bie-modernism theory, the basic framework of Bie-modernism philosophy and aesthetics, etc. He emphatically introduced the new model conception of “philosophy + technology + art” formed by the combination of computer algorithm and analysis and aesthetics. Starting from the basic thinking of human writing, Professor Wang describes the general methods, writing principles, and writing skills of human writing. The more automated writing can simulate human thinking, the less traces of machine writing can be seen. Only in this way can the model of “philosophy + technology + art” be embodied. Doctoral student Wen Jun shared her views on the “Nine Songs” artificial intelligence poetry creation system. She believed that the previous artificial intelligence could not truly simulate human thoughts and emotions, but only piled up Chinese characters without spirituality.
Professor Chen Haiguang, School of Computer Science, Shanghai Normal University, introduced the influence of artificial intelligence on various fields of society in the future, expressed his views on how artificial intelligence can be combined with philosophy and art, and analyzed the principles of computer text processing from the perspective of NLP. He also introduced the latest cutting-edge technologies and hotspots of NLP, and looked forward to the prospect of intelligent recognition and creation. His team of graduate students demonstrated the research results of “image-based text description”.
Li Qing, head of Shanghai Qiuyi Information Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the company’s “intelligent automatic writing system” at the meeting. He demonstrated the automatic creation of Tang poems and short stories on the spot. And he explained the working principle of computer writing through deep learning: according to the keywords given by the user, analyze the core intention of the user, and use the attention mechanism to write around the keywords through classification calculation. At the same time, combined with key information such as the contextual logical relationship, emotional description and scene arrangement of the article, the writing content is closer to the way of thinking of human writing.
Through the discussion, the two professors fully affirmed the “intelligent automatic writing system” of Shanghai Qiuyi Information Technology Co., Ltd., and hoped that the system will continue to improve and the data will be further excavated, so that the system has more advanced and richer application scenarios as well as a deeper level of expressiveness. Through the new attempt of “philosophy + technology + art” with Shanghai Qiuyi Information Technology Co., Ltd., it is expected that automatic intelligent writing can be integrated with Bie-modernist cultural innovations.
