Bie-modernism topic enters the 25th Human-Computer Interaction International Conference (25th HCII 2023) and the 11th Cultural Computing (11st C&C 2023) Conference.

The 25th Human-Computer Interaction International Conference (25th HCII 2023) and the 11th Cultural Computing (11st C&C 2023) Conference will be held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark from July 23rd to July 28th, 2023. The conference once again invited Professor Wang Jianjiang, the founder of Bie-modernism, to serve as a member of the conference organizing committee and solicited topics for this conference from him. For this purpose, on July 18th, 2022, more than 20 experts and scholars and their graduate students from Shanghai Normal University Institute of Aesthetics and Aesthetic Education, Donghua University School of Design, Southeast University School of Humanities, Shanghai Normal University School of Computer Science, Shanghai University of Engineering Science Department of Design and Shanghai Pudong Information Development Research Consulting Center had a heated discussion online on the topic selection for the 25th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction and Cultural Computing in 2023. Finally they refined the topic “Cultural Hybridization & Deep Distinguishing” and reported it to the conference organizing committee.

On the second day, feedback was received from the conference organizing committee that this topic was split and listed as two topics, “Bie-modernist” and “Cultural Hybridization,” for next year’s conference. This is the second time that Bie-modernism has been established as a conference topic in parallel with two special topics since the 24th International Human-Computer Interaction Conference (24thHCII2023) and the 10th Cultural Computing (10thC&C2023) Conference successfully held a special session on “Deep Falsity and Deep Distinguishing in the Bie-modernist Horizon.”

It is reported that cultural computing is an interdisciplinary applied research that has emerged internationally in recent years, combining artificial intelligence applications with art, design, philosophy concepts and other organic combinations. It has broad development prospects and coincides with Bie-modernist philosophy and art theory. Every year, 7-8 thousand people from all over the world apply to participate in the Human-Computer Interaction and Cultural Computing Conference. More than 5,000 papers are selected and published by Springer Publishing House.
