Preliminary Notice
Dear Colleagues:
The theory of Bie-modernism has gone through nearly a decade since it was first proposed by Prof. Wang Jianjiang at the China-Russia High-Level Cultural Forum in 2014. From the attention to the social reality, the state of philosophical and aesthetic development, and the practice of literary and artistic creation in the Bie-modern era to the reflection and criticism of these states, Bie-modern and Bie-modernism have formed a self-reflexive and dynamic theoretical structure, in which there are more than 20 sub-theoretical categories. With the continuous attention and enthusiastic discussion of famous domestic and foreign aestheticians, philosophers, artists, and literary theorists, the theory of Bie-modernism has become an academic growth point of related disciplines. At present, the International Conference has been held for seven times, and several touring exhibitions of Bie-modernist art have been held in China and overseas, nearly 200 papers have been published in important academic journals in China and overseas, and five monographs have been published.The United States and the EU member state Slovenia have autonomously established the Bie-Modern Studies Center (CCBMS/CBMS) at their universities in 2017 and 2019, and Italy has a Bie-Modernism website.The International Symposium on Chinese Philosophy (ISCP) and the Human-Computer Interaction International Conference (HCII) have also set up special sessions for Bie-modernism.The “Bie-Modernism” has been recognized by the National Social Fund, and has been reported by many important medias.
Bie-modernism was born from the practice and philosophical generalization of cultural creativity in the regeneration of Dunhuang art and the formulation of detailed plans for attractions, and in turn guided cultural creativity and philosophical construction. Its spiritual character lies in the originality and enlightenment of realistic care, and advocates reflection and criticism, and its development process is enriched by continuous reflection and sublimated by continuous controversy. In the current context of “Chinese Modernization”, the transformation and upgrading of Bie-modernism, as a theory closely related to social reality, art practice, philosophy and aesthetics, is inevitable. This international Conference, with the theme of “Bie-modernism Philosophy and Creativity”, will be held on December 9-11 in Shanghai, China, both online and in person.

Format of the meeting
- The theoretical research part adopts the common way of academic conferences in China and overseas.
2. Creative research and development is divided into two parts: artistic creativity and non-artistic creativity.The molding art works and products will not be accepted in this conference, but the undisputed original creativity provided by the creators will be accepted by the organizing committee after being witnessed by the lawyers. A long-term confidentiality agreement between the creators and the organizing committee will be signed with lawyers.The creative idea can be released within a certain range or not.
Domestic and international philosophers, artists, creative designers, aesthetes, literary theorists, international lawyers, as well as experts and young scholars from universities and academic research institutions are cordially invited to participate.
Lunch and dinner will be provided, but the conference will not cover the travel and accommodation expenses of participants.
