Detail

At the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Wang Jianjiang introduced the emergence and influence of Bie-modernism theory. Prof. Wang pointed out that “Bie-modern” is an era of speciousness in the state of spatialization of time, and Bie-modernism is the value judgment and theoretical assertion of such an era. “Bie-modern” is a theory about social form, but its “bie” is rooted in traditional Chinese culture, and its original meaning of distinction becomes the first theoretical basis of Bie-modernism. Prof. Wang mentioned that the term “Bie-modern” has received wide attention from domestic and international academic circles after its creation, and has been recognized as one of the ten most original concepts in China by four major Chinese academic assessment institutions (from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Fudan University, and the People’s University of China, respectively).

Then, Prof. Wang Jianjiang explained the connotation and origin of Life Equity’s theory of beauty. Prof. Wang believes that Life Equity is the right of citizens to share dividends and profits from GDP, which is a kind of natural legal right. He emphasized that Life Equity focuses on the right to live under the inviolability of life, the quality of life, the share share and the condition guarantee, and it is a right that can be quantified when distributing dividends and profits. Prof. Wang also believes that Life Equity theory of beauty is rooted in the human right to life, a reflection and correction of popular theories such as “human right to life”; it is rooted in the ontology of life, a reflection and correction of the ontology of love; and it is a reflection on literature, art, and life.

Prof. Wang then talked about the significance of the Life Equity theory of beauty. He believes that its significance lies in reflecting on the roots of human misfortunes and exploring the way out for mankind. He thinks that Life Equity is the premise and foundation of human happiness and beauty, and its absence is the root of human misery. The aesthetic mechanism of the Life Equity theory of aesthetics is in Inner Aesthetic and the generalization of Inner Aesthetic and human happiness, and the significance of the aesthetics of Bie-modernism in the construction of the discipline is to realize the breakthrough of aesthetics principle in the correlation and comparison with other doctrines related to “life”.  During the discussion, students actively exchanged ideas with Prof. Wang. In response to the questions raised by the students, Prof. Wang gave patient and detailed answers one by one, and the academic atmosphere of the scene was strong.

Prof. Wang Jianjiang’s Life Equity Theory of Aesthetics is based on the current human problems and reveals the source of human happiness, which provides a new theoretical foundation for the development of aesthetics and aesthetics, and a new reference for human beings to get out of the predicament. Finally, Prof. Li Qijun summarized this lecture. Prof. Li thought that this lecture was novel in its theoretical viewpoints and brought great inspiration to teachers and students, and that Life Equity in modern China will be realized in the future. The lecture ended perfectly with warm applause.
