Congratulatory letter to Mr. Huang Haicheng from Prof. Keaton Wynn, Director of the Center for Chinese Bie-Modern Studies in Georgia Southwestern State University

Dear Colleagues,

It is my honor on the occasion of the New Liberal Arts Construction and Art Methodology and High-end Academic Seminar, to send my congratulations. It is my privilege to Congratulate and recognize the great achievements of Professor Huang Haicheng on the 65th anniversary of his academic career and to celebrate his 90th birthday.

On many occasions Dr. Wang Jianjiang has within his academic lectures described the great influence Professor Huang Haicheng has had on his work. We have also learned of his importance and influence through Professor Lu Yang. For these reasons we have come to greatly respect the work of Mr. Huang Haicheng. Although we have not seen Mr. Huang Haicheng’s work in the United States, we believe that the influence of Professor Wang Jianjiang’s theory of Bie-modernism in China and the world is enough to constitute our interest in and admiration for Professor Wang Jianjiang’s teacher. At this important moment, please allow me to express my respect and congratulations to Mr. Huang Haicheng on behalf of the CCBMS, the Center for Chinese Bei-modern Studies in the United States, and hope that the theory of Bie-modernism will be further developed in China and beyond. Today, as the COVID 19 continues raging, We are confident that our Chinese colleagues can successfully navigate these difficulties and continue their great academic achievements. We are in solidarity with you and pray for better days for communication and collaboration.
