Huangshan College School of Literature held a lecture on ‘The Emergence and Development of Bie-Modernist Aesthetics’ taught by Wang Jianjiang

On November 4th at 5 pm, Professor Wang Jianjiang gave an academic lecture on “The Emergence and Development of Bie-Modernist Aesthetics” at Huangshan College.

“Bie-modern theory” is a local innovation theory proposed by Professor Wang Jianjiang at the “China-Russia Cultural High-level Forum” held in Shanghai in 2014. It aims to promote the innovation and construction of Chinese academic discourse. It includes Bie-modernist philosophy and aesthetics and is a highly inclusive original academic discourse. Bie-modernist aesthetics is an important part of the “Bie-modern theory”. It specifically includes categories such as “self-regulating aesthetics”, “internal aesthetics”, “artistic conception generation”, and “cultivation aesthetics” constructed by inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture. It also includes theories such as “aesthetic morphology”, “hero construction theory”, “life equity theory”, and “art cutting theory” based on the reality and culture of developing Chinese society, advocating for the creative development of Chinese aesthetics and art based on contemporary Chinese aesthetic and artistic practices. The lecture will focus on five aspects: the historical and cultural background of the emergence of Bie-modern theory, the international influence of Bie-modernist theory, the theoretical categories of Bie-modernist aesthetics, the thinking mode of Bie-modernist aesthetics, and Bie-modernism art criticism. It will lead us to appreciate the unique flavor of local academic discourse innovation and development in the new era.
